Vale Japan K.K.; Vale Group, a Fortune Global 500 company

With more than 200 million people, Brazil is the world's 5th largest country by population and by area—and the world's 7th largest economy. There are now 8 Brazilian companies in the Fortune Global 500, including the Vale group.

Brazilian businesses continue expanding rapidly internationally—also in Japan—and in his presentation Marcos Turini will tell us about some of the key global Brazilian players, including his own company Vale, and how and why they have been successful.

Marcos Turini is Managing Director of the Japan subsidiary of Vale, a Fortune Global 500 global mining company headquartered in Brazil—with annual sales of US$50 billion. He is also currently the President of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and a JMEC Executive Committee member.
